Benjamin Arnold hosts BEtheCAUSE Poetry Slams, Open Mics and the Poets in the Round Series when he isn’t teaching high school English.  He enjoys writing, painting, organizing, and raising a reader. As the
co-founder of 4words, a nonprofit organization focused on improving society’s literacy skill, he yearns to cultivate talent from all ages. His poetry is published on Word Riot (www.wordriot.org) and Perigee (www.perigee-art.com). His first chapbook of poems, Fractals of Past, was released in 2009 by LeRue Press.  

Arnold earned a bachelor’s degree in Literature and Writing Studies from Cal State San Marcos in 2003.  He lives in Reno, Nevada with his wife, Tami, and son, TK.  His second collection, Synaptic Traffic: Intersections of Prose and Poetry, prompts you to find your own voice and write your own story.
